Our aim is to provide our
customers, students and
corporate clients with rapid
progress towards fluency,
creating naturally confident
speakers.
With this aim, we therefore will
only employ teachers with
demonstrable skills and the
appropriate level of
qualifications. They must have a
passion for excellence and
achievement, and can demonstrate
an adaptability and flexibility
to teaching strategies and
tactics according to the
different and best learning
methods that our students or
clients may have. They must also
have the capability to recognize
different learning needs and
make the learning of English
enjoyable. Their spoken English
must be perfect.
We
also expect that our teachers
will have a reasonable knowledge
of Spanish, or commit to its
acquisition in a short period of
time.
In
our experience knowing the
differences between English and
Spanish helps us understand
where first language Spanish
speakers will have difficulties
in understanding aspects of the
English language. We are
therefore able to deal with
these difficulties early on and
hence we are able to make
quicker progress in the
acquisition of English. This
aspect is also important as you
will be required to communicate
in Spanish to potential
customers or to the parents of
our students.
We
will therefore welcome
applications from teachers who
can show these qualities and
skills. We may from time to time
consider applications from those
who have recently acquired their
qualifications who may initially
work in a support and part time
role, under the supervision of
one of the Academy's teachers.
